Live on a sharp corner. I'd bet someone either dropped it while riding a motorcycle (mexican style carry or just crap holster) or someone left it on top of their truck/car and it slid off as they took the corner.
Called sheriffs office, they came and collected it, offered it to me if no one claimed it but I don't have room in my life for plastic guns (CZ75 or 1911 please....)
Magazine shattered and spread rounds everywhere, slide was totally broken apart, barrel had gouges from being run over on the asphalt, etc.

So you don't think a metal gun dropped in the road and run over would have issues?
How about an Al framed 1911? What is the metal that a lot of spoon parts are made of these days, essentially some sort of pressed powder or something like that? I'm guessing that any spoon that hits the pavement at speed and is then run over could have issues.
Not that I don't like a metal spoon, but the plastic spoons have their place and are good at what they do.
