I am facing the fact that the inevitable is rushing my way. My mind locks up when I consider selling one of my 356s. I've been a Porsche owner since I was 19 years old - 52 years. I bought the two cars I have now in 1973 and I've been through a lot with them. The thought of selling one of them feels like thinking about selling my dog. We all have different relationships with our cars.
They've been with me so long they are part of my identity.
I don't know what will allow me to decide it's time, but I know there will be regrets.
I unbagged the Speedster from its winter nap just this morning. I'm still grinning.
