on a side note......
this weekend the wife took my 2 little palookas to a party so i had some "free" time on my hands...... i waited until the SUV left the driveway to my house and BOOM i was in the garage.... hahahaha.....
for 30 years my valve covers have been mocking me, ugly and chipped just sitting there all jacked up....... that ended this weekend!........ hahahahaha...... took a few minutes to tape off some stuff, covered the engine and blasted the covers with some high heat, flat black paint.
no more mocking me! hahahaha.
(no, i didnt do it correctly, no its not perfect, i know better BUT BUT BUT it is definitely BETTER looking than it was and i am perfectly fine with the end result.
