I've always liked Makita, but not had much because it was pricey and back when I was buying my old tools, cost was more of a consideration. I just checked Amazon who's got the Makita, and there are a bunch of reviews talking about them breaking and falling apart. Seems weird, may be total BS, since we know that many reviews are.
