I'm due for the Shingles shot too- Higgins thread on how much fun that wasn't has given me a push to get that taken care of.
I've only had one go-round with trigger finger (keep the safety on for heavens sake) that was "triggered" by brush painting the exterior of our house years ago. It improved after I finished painting but it's still easy to get a flareup if I do more silly things like mix and pour concrete, lots of raking- anything that has "forceful gripping" involved.
My days as a trapeze artist are over before they began.
