^^^^^ YES! - we grew up in a rural area, nearest town was @ 10 miles away. But there was a little country store just up at the crossroads, a bunch of us kids riding bikes would 'pit stop' and do the exact same thing. RC cola was cheaper too than say Coke or Pepsi which was important on a kids budget. My best bud at the time had gotten a Schwinn Orange Krate with all the accessories. That Summer was awesome!
