Yes Greg, they really have improved.
Plenty of 50' products available - in fact I keep one in my truck for emergencies. Takes up so little space it's ridiculous!
I don't know if I'll ever go back to a conventional garden hose.
I also use quick connects to swap out from water wands to hose end feeders.
Plant guy here and I insist on efficiency when it comes to this stuff. It's a continual pursuit!
