Have had a few bites, only one that required a doctor and that was, similar to Nostril's, and accident. Our rescue had some triggers when we first got him, some sort of colourful history before us. After messing around with him for a while play fighting, he retired to his dog bed. I had to move it a foot to access a cabinet, made the mistake of doing it with him on it, from behind. He whipped his head around to object and caught me under the jaw with his bottom teeth. 11 stitches later, the worst part of it was meddling doctors insisting my dog had attacked me. Until the oldest doc showed up, and berated the others for failing to notice there was only damage from the bottom teeth, so clearly no bite.
You could tell he regretted it to his last day, poor guy I think it was harder on him than me.
