Steve. You can see the grass is especially worn out along the fence. He would spend all day circuitinig the yard along the fence. He fed mostly on grass, and after a few years the grass started dying out. It seemed it wasn't suited for our climate, elevation, & soil. So we gave him away to some people in Palm Desert. He was a very powerful animal. A friend of my wife had one, which he brought over once for a "play date." His tortois started harrassing Turbo. When Turbo would get tired of it he would charge the other Salcata and knock it rolling.
