^^^^^ YES! - we grew up in a rural area, nearest town was @ 10 miles away. But there was a little country store just up at the crossroads, a bunch of us kids riding bikes would 'pit stop' and do the exact same thing. RC cola was cheaper too than say Coke or Pepsi which was important on a kids budget. My best bud at the time had gotten a Schwinn Orange Krate with all the accessories. That Summer was awesome!

We had a little store called "Klopps" right at the entrance to our neighborhood in Norfolk. Rode our bikes there and bought candy and sodas. Back then one of the most exciting things for us was trying to decide which candy to buy that day because there were so many good ones to choose from!
