I would not recommend Ryobi. In my experience, about the only good thing about them is that they are among the least expensive.
We have a Ryobi 18v leaf blower. It works ok for small stuff, but can't really handle the big leaf maple in our back yard. The original battery had some sort of internal fault and will no longer charge.
I tried one of their chain saws, but the motor overheated and tripped a thermal switch on the first use. There was no external breaker for it, and it didn't reset after cooling down, so i returned it. I would be wary even under light use, though, because the tensioner was fussy and the oiler didn't dispense enough oil.
