Backs of my hands are fragile. Hardly a day goes by I don't do something to nick my skin. That has to stop as it may have contributed to the MSSA infection that got into my shoulder replacement joint which was subsequently removed.
Getting ready for the 2nd new shoulder and I need to literally clean up my act. Staphylococcus is present on your skin because it lives just about everywhere. On the ground, or in your nose.
Use alcohol and band aids on your minor injuries. I found out the hard way that being a tough guy is not the way to go.
