It is just unreal that "they" have simply stopped a business and with no laws to really back it up. And of course the "they" is the government that is supposed to provide equal protection under the laws.
Fred, at this point, call your local councilman or commissioner or whatever the local government setup is. Then call your state representative, and your state senator. Then a letter to the governor and to the US congressman, and senator.
Send an analog paper letter to all of them. Then a letter to the local TV stations and newspaper. Make some noise. Do it while you are mad and tell it like it is.
It might be a total waste of time, but maybe, just maybe you will find some other landlords that will do the same.
