Unfortunately, I would imagine the plywood over the windows wouldn't last more than a few hours in this economy. Just sayin...
Now that I think about it, I had a conversation with a friend a few weeks ago about deadbeat renters etc., he said the one time he owned rental property and had a deadbeat renter he wanted to get rid of, he simply transferred ownership of the property to his Dad by a quitclaim deed. That ended the rental contract since he no longer owned the place. Once the deadbeat renter was out, his Dad quitclaimed the property back to him.
