The work is actually being done by my local European specialist. I've known the guy for 25 years and he's very consciousnesses. Obviously he's kicking himself pretty hard right now, but I trust him to make it right.
I've been too busy to do it myself and my thinking was that I don't need to bring this to the Porsche specialist, because I'm not looking for anything diagnostic.
Hopefully the only downside here is that the car spends another day in the shop....
