David, I hope she gets better fast.
I went to the garage and played with the 911 a little. I replaced the drivers side window switch. One of the easiest repair on a 911. The hard part is prying the old switch out of the door panel. I have nylon trim pry bar that made pretty short work of that and leaves no marks. Swap one wire at a time, push new switch into place and done.
The old switch must be full of corrosion. The window goes up and down faster, and no more wiggling it to get it to work at all.
