I remember visiting 30 years ago. Every evening after supper a thunderstorm rolled through, it hailed for about 15 minutes and was clear by 10 PM.
One of those evenings, I was standing with my brother in a herd of charolais cattle after just needling a calf. We were about a 1/4 mile from the road and the truck when the wind and rain hit. I was thinking we were toast when his wife came bouncing across the field in the GMC. We just made it into the cab as the first hailstones hit.

We're trying to get the rest of the hay in here, but it showers almost every day.
