Redbul have been for years and are easily the best at pit stops with a record time of 1.82 secs to change all 4 wheels so have most to lose
Mercedes requested a technical clarification to the FIA on a certain aspect of the pit stop sequence which would have be specifically aimed at stopping RBR doing what they do
It's all part of the championship battle that goes on away from the track
Redbull did the same to me with a clutch paddle release mechanism I'd designed for the Ferrari steering wheel which gave us an advantage off the line and into the 1st corner. Their technical clarification worked, stopped us doing what we were doing but not as Redbull had intented as my redesign made the mechanism release quicker
This years championship is only going to get more fraught as the season goes on which will make compelling viewing if you're interested in F1. If you're not then don't worry as I'm sure there will be plenty to complain about to keep you interested
