I am in no way an expert so go easy on me.
I am pretty sure my fuel pump is no longer functional. Recently, I have been having trouble where after driving and parking the car, I could not get the car to start. Car would crank just fine, but my fuel pump would not come on. I normally hear a buzz and know the pump is working, but lately I've had to flip the key a few times back and forth before I would hear it kick on, especially after driving it for a little bit and parking the car.
Now, though I am sure the fuel pump is dead.
When the fuel pump was working it was pretty obnoxious, which as I understand it, is a sign that the pump was going out anyway.
The fuel pump looks as if it were replaced before, as there are some newish looking hoses with some kind of attachment, that looks as if the previous owners had modified.

I've watched some 924 fuel replacement videos on youtube and am curious if I should order any other parts.
Anyone know what this extra attachment is?
Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
