I am not a fan of Honda quality. I have a 2008 Civic. It is falling apart because I park it outdoors. All the rubber trim around the windows and doors is crumbling. Strips of it tear off as I drive on the highway. The door lock on the driver's door has worn out--the discs inside the mechanism will no longer recognize my key. I have never had that happen on any car. The door stops haven't worked for years. I have to hold a door open with a leg or foot, or else it closes automatically.

The motor and transmission are fine (after they replaced the engine block at 9.5 years due to fine cracks leaking out coolant). But the rest of the car is not so quality-made.
