use a 6 point socket and make surei it is fully seated

you really don't want to bugger the bolt head, ( or is t an allen head). I just did this on my wife's benz and they were TIGHT. If you yse an 6 point socket rather than the usual 12 point you stand a better chance of not buggerring the head of the bolt. Make sure it is fully seated and square on the bolt. Or as others have suggested use a crow's foot.
I had to move a bunch of stuff, (dipstick and tube, oil filter, part of the air intake) to get a good shot at the bolt.
use whatever combination of swivel, extension, or wobbly you need to to getback enough to get a good leverage on it.
