Interior surface rust
As I work through the interior of my 88 I found some surface rust behind the driver's seat. It looks like someone spilled a drink and it took too long to dry. I will need to pull up some of the carper (no big deal) to fix it but should I be applying a coating to it for future prevention or just leave it?
This area doesn't seem to have the black soundproofing the driver's floorboard area does.
