Oman had the highest ever "low overnight temp of 111. Imagine the coolest part of the day just before dawn, and it is 111. Ouch.
In 1936 and 2012 we hit 113 and that is the all time record. Hopefully we never break it.

We’ve had nights where it never got below 100. It’s surreal to be out at midnight and have it still be that hot!
116 with 10% humidity is wild. You know you should be sweating but you really aren’t. I think that makes it even more dangerous, you just slowly cook. It’s like being in a sous vide cooker set to blue rare. 🤣
