I do a lot of outside work, so maybe my taste in music is different because of that. (?)
I like upbeat tunes - which includes classics "I grew up with" along with
movie soundtracks.
The more "sentimental" for me - the better. Keeps a smile on my face and my feet a dancin'!
For equipment, I have a few portable speakers which are rechargeable and can use a flash drive. I also have 3 different pairs of outside speakers permanently attached under the eaves of my home on 3 of the sides. They are attached to a small receiver than can use a flash drive. I put all my music on flash drives then in MP3 format. Keep folders in my PC and continue to download additional music from the Internet. I have about 2 dozen flash drives - each one with 16GB capacity - which can hold a LOT of music.
