Some of these did have factory air conditioning. Just like the Porsche 914.
My last 145 had an aftermarket unit installed by the original owners, who lived in Ft Myers. But it was removed at some point by the person I bought it from. It was a 2 owner car when I bought it. The previous owner used it while going to college at Florida. His brother was the service manager at the Volvo dealership there, so that 145 was in tip top shape mechanically.
It was a '69 so the rear windows popped out.
The car also has fly windows - so between having 4 roll down windows, fly windows, and two rear pop-out windows - there's plenty of ventilation - as long as you keep moving!
