I surmise that the previous day (4th of July) I had it parked at the top of the hill that leads down to my buddies garage since his 6 siblings and several other were there for a gathering, and it was pretty conspicuous only 20 yards off the main road. Lots of other gatherings, maybe he saw it, or one of his buddies told him about it so he came back looking.
I was parked clear down by the garage, not easy to see through the landscaping and such from the road.
And you are right Steve, mine's a true survivor, one respray with OEM paint, I have the original motor stored, original seats are stored, etc, etc.
It's worth 50 at least even though she needs a bit of body work and new paint.
And... it's not for sale, I'm not done having fun with it.
