Any professional chefs here? Anyone wear clogs all day?
Awhile back I started a thread about slip on work shoes and many were very happy with what looked mostly like cross trainers to me, plus some bordering on hiking boots.
Those are not work shoes. Clogs protect chefs from falling objects like knives. Nurses seem to like them as they are on their feet most of the day.
I see leather clogs and wouldn't know the difference between one vs the next.
With upcoming shoulder surgery, I won't be able to tie laces for 8 or so weeks. I wear deck shoes a lot when out but not steady on my feet. They aren't good for that. Like wearing Italian driving shoes to a construction site.
I'm thinking clogs. BTW, I absolutely abhor Crocs.
