PorscheGal and others: Which Dansko? There are dozens to choose from. I think I'd like leather even though I know I'll pay for it. I like to wear socks just about all the time.

@vash, that is a concern. I have both Thorogood and Wolverine boots and I'm throwing the Wolverines out before I do sprain my ankle. Like Craigster59 has said many times, Thorogood boots are hard to beat for a $140 price point.

Another question, I think a heel back looks better than a strictly slide in. I have some slide-in non-flip flop (full loop) sandals and I'm always backing out of them and have to scuff them back forward.

Other than Crocs, I can't stand flip flops. The nothing shoe. Does nothing for anyone with them on except flop when they walk. I hate that. I'm hoping clogs go where you want to go w/o thinking about it.
