Spend the money on seat time. You will have a lot to learn before you will be able to even notice the difference in braces.
Drive, drive some more, try different tires, different tire pressures, suspension set ups, fuel loads, try working on your longitudinal weight transfers. Work on your vision, vision, vision. Hand placement, your heel and toe. Are you steering with a dominate hand or equal pressure.
There are tons of things you can work on that are free long before you get to a stage where an X brace will make a difference.
Most of all have fun and be open to what you are learning. Always try new instructors when you go to a DE. Never think they a punishment because most are there to help.
