I am out here in Sacramento, California and yes.... it is a gorgeous day looking out my window.
Friggin' HOT outside. The air outside is so hot the all the birds are walking. I think it is around 110 degrees right now. 4pm PST.
My next door neighbor leaves a big pan of water on her front lawn so lots of turkeys hang out on my lawn where the shade is.
This area of California, with all the mature trees and rivers is beautiful.
It is a shame that for whatever reasons, we have a tinder box for fires, very little water and
no real pro-active solution.
