Nowhere near worrying as I refuse to live in fear and the crime situation here where I live is decades away from me having to arm myself in my own house or neighborhood
However I could build a drop down metal spiked wooden gate into our driveway entrance or maybe a hot boiling tar pouring slot might more effective just in case
I grew up in a country where we felt threatened enough to lock ourselves into a secure part of the house at bedtime and where my mum wouldn't drive at night on her own.
That's not a way to live so if it ever gets like or I have to live in a secure gated neighborhood to feel safe I'll find somewhere else to live
