Really nice 914's have been bringing good money for awhile, but, and it's a big butt, this doesn't mean you should go out and start picking up all the craigslist specials for $1000, they are still only worth close to nothing. The same with large stashes of 914 parts, close to worthless.
When I'm doing a buy out I don't touch any of the 914 stuff, it's a really cheap crowd and there are way more parts and parts cars than actual cars left. Every 914 guys has 1 car on jackstands and at least one, sometimes three parts cars in the yard.
So unless a 914 is damn near perfect, or a part is NOS, don't think this is the next 356 in terms of value.
