I agree. I've got a buddy with a hoard of parts, most not worth going through. There are a couple of guys, Bruce Stone is one, who do a good job of tracking down things if needed. Of my 3, the 1970 Tangerine is a runner I picked up last summer, which had been sitting mostly unused for years. Brakes, shifter bushings, fuel system refresh, new tires and it was back and driving. It still needs a few things. I have a very straight, perfect interior 72 that I bought for $1,500 a few years back that is an 80k original mile car that again, sat unused for years after the PO took it somewhat apart to get it painted. It's going to get new paint and the mechanicals refreshed. The 3rd is a GT clone that I'm prepping for vintage racing. They are fun to work on and drive. I'm glad to see the values increase but none of my small Porsche herd were bought for investment purposes, including the 356.
