they were the worst of time, they were the best of times. All has good and bad. For example, you might believe that having the US govt shutting down the 1st and second amendments is the BEST. Others look to a time when free speech was not shuttered by goons in the govt. ]
This thread asks about the negatives of our current culture. Our current culture has grown some warts. Warts that were not there in the past. Sure, different warts were. Some even beotch today endlessly about warts of the past... demand "reparations" ... yeah, how about focusing on not making more problems.
