I understand many of the guys want everything to work as designed, or better. I am the same way, and all the functions on my 85 work as designed, or better.
That said, the headlight washers are neat, but likely the least used option on any 911 except seat heaters in a Miami, FL 911.
My headlight washers do work, but they will hose down the entire car. In fact they work as a backup if the windshield squirters fail. In the 26 years and 100,000+ plus miles of driving my 911 in 41 states and Canada, I have actually really needed and used them once. Light rain in Utah, and all the feeder roads to the highway were dirt, or mud roads. Every vehicle that came to the highway brought mud and the rain made a mist of brown goo and the car and headlights were covered in brown layer of mud. I used over a gallon of washer fluid that day.
