Garage
Help diagnose a sound (video link)

I had my car (1977S with 54k miles) at the mechanic this winter for a lot of small maintenance stuff. When I got it back in winter it went into the garage while I did other projects- I didn’t drive it but 100 miles when I started hearing this ticking, pfft noise. I towed the car back to the shop where they determined it needed a valve adjustment, never mind they had done a valve adjustment when they first had the car.

They checked for broken head studs and didn’t find any, they retorqued the exhaust bolts and re-replaced the valve cover gaskets after re-adjusting the valves. The final determination was that it’s a 43 year old car.

Is this a noise that I should be concerned about?
