BBQ is a funny thing, it’s easy to be disappointed, in my experience. I actually grew up with at least two fantastic BBQ joints in Minneapolis, Rudolph’s and Market BBQ. Rudolph’s is long gone but not soon enough, it somehow went from a 10 to about a 2 in its final years.
Pretty sure that Memphis has the best BBQ joints in the world. Rendezvous being the top of the heap but it’s a competitive scene.
