I can tell you've never been on a golf course in your life. Here's an idea, check out a map of 9 or 18 holes sometime - you'll notice that the next tee is a short walk from the green, and there's plenty of overgrown real estate around those greens. Waiting for a bunch of foresomes to play through gives ample time to explore the surrounding out of bounds.
