Sure is Jim. It take quite a bit of work to make these engines right. Currenty everything is still available for these engines but you must look hard to find anything and prices have gone through the roof. I think that is why I am trying to build the ultimate engine for myself now to go into my 30K mile car.... something I can hold onto for years to come.
Jim- you gave me some good advice on my 914-6 conversion a while back, thanks, how is yours? The 914-6 parts are becoming very hard to find as well, but the good thing, I can find 911 engines anywhere. That car is my driver, I can put all the miles I want on it and still be able to re-do it later (conversion parts don't really wear out).
I guess we need to start hiding away the 912 parts so in the furture we will have something that runs that can be shown off.
