I did some research when I bought mine. You have some that have high CFM, and lower velocity. Then you have some with lower CFM and higher velocity. I tended towards the higher CFM. I believe CFM is like torque where speed is like HP. If you want to shove stuff around, you want torque (CFM). So when you're deciding, find the higher CFM and go with that. (at least, that was one of my decision factors)
