Oh, they go far beyond the Greek alphabet. There are so many now that they have to name them with capital letters, numbers and dots, in various combinations. The permutations are nearly endless. But, don’t be so easily fooled. Some of them have two names, which makes it seem like things are worse than they really are. The dreaded Delta is also known as (B.1.617.2) Which sounds much more serious. I’m sure they will use the Delta name, in the movie.
Me? I am waiting for the Andromeda variant. When that bad boy hits town, I’m going to dig the biggest hole in my backyard you’ve ever seen. It will be so deep that radio waves cannot penetrate and my posts here will cease. When I quit posting, you know that you have just minutes left.
Thank God none of them are “variants of high consequence,” as the CDC refers to them, otherwise we would’ve all been dead long ago and the animals would’ve taken over.
