Good Question.
I think that we look at the infection rate vs death rate to track the efficacy of the vaccine.
As far as I know, that gap is widening (statistically significant fewer deaths, as a percentage of infections).
BUT... that could be that the dry acreage has already been burned up. (so to speak) IOW, when so many of the 80+ crowd has been pushed over the edge there is only the younger (more resilient) population getting infected.
