Agree Toyota 4x4's are keepers and I absolutely love my Gen 2 4Runner too

I'd get a pro to fix it so it's done once rather than a make do and mend repair

My drivers seat is quite worn too, much worse than yours Paul. I bought a passenger seat as it's the same shape foam/upholstery in excellent condition and will just swap the covers over.

Maybe you can do the same with your seats?
