The doctors are almost certain that this is the origin of the infection that went septic. I have not seen her today. I was doing some work for an old army buddy (garage door repair), but my BIL kept me updated. They were going to remove her from the ventilator today as long as her breathing was more normal. I do not know if the surgery changed that.

So it was a stone? I've had a few, not fun in the least but thank god, I never had a complication like sepsis. I probably don't have to tell you how serious of a condition that is. Also, the type of "help" they gave her to pass it is one situation where it's a heck of a lot better to be a woman than a man!!
Still, no fun...poor thing. I hope she continues to improve. What's her name? So we can make sure that the prayers go in the right mailbox.
