Baz, Thank you! I have a thing for sundown lighting which is perfect for SWFL. My girl is quite a ham, I love her madly. ❤
Thanks, man. My wife had never seen the Grand Canyon, and she found some kind of "Groupon" deal that included a flight from the South Rim of the GC to Page, AZ, where we got in 4WD vans and headed to nearby Antelope Canyon, where those shots were taken. Then it was a bus ride down a two mile tunnel to the base of the Glen Canyon Dam, where we rafted most of the way back to our destination. IDK if she'd ever done a Groupon before or since, but at $100/ person, it was a helluva deal!

Visibility that day was off and on, but it cleared up a couple of times - and thankfully over the famous horsehoe

The Glen Canyon Dam - behind it is Lake Powell.
And you can kinda make out the end of the tunnel where you load onto rafts (bottom center of image).

The tunnel down

The hole in the cliff wall (shot from the river) and many others serve as air vents for the tunnel, and were used for the tailings when the tunnel was first cut.

A short hike at the midpoint of our rafting led to some pretty cool graffiti...

The aforementioned "horeshoe" turn from the Colorado's surface

PS: More Mrs Doug is always a good thing. Ham it up!
