FYI his surname is "Mancinas" not Manseenus..he revised the spelling to be funny on social media..part of his fun personality.
I can't believe he is no longer with us. I was so hoping that I would wake up to read he was out of hospital and back to good health. The news from two nights ago is devastating, he was so young and had so much life to still live. He was only a few years older than me.
He passed away with complications arising from Covid 19. For those who are not vaccinated, please seriously re-consider. This is real.
I did not know Rudy as well as others but we had talked on and off. I had not seen Rudy in a few years and thinking back it was at CnC in here in Houston where we chatted last, back in 2019. We were trying to get together to talk air cools for a few hours but our schedules never quite meshed. This really makes my heart heavy and deeply saddening as we all know what a great person he is and how he loved his family. It is touching to read all the love he is receiving and support for the family. We lost a great person, with passion, humility all while being so genuine.
Rest in Peace Rudy, wide open throttle my friend.
To those unfamiliar he had an impressive air cooled collection (911, 964 and 993) and an equally impressive BMW collection with 2002s, E30 M3s and a few later models.
