removing 73.5 T CIS Fuel Injector Seals

Team, I cannot seem to find this specific challenge on the Forum. In removing 1973.5 T with CIS injectors to inspect clean and test, I noted the injectors were very loose, moving up and down perhaps 3mm. I removed the injectors using a "Chuckster tool" that was painless and avoided damage to the sheet metal rim of injector holes.

However, I now want to remove and replace the rubber seals themselves. This is proving beyond my imagination of how to remove without risking damage to the sheet metal surrounds, or dropping something (rubber bits) directly into the intake valve area on top of cylinders. The seals - (our host provides https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/91111092200.htm?pn=911-110-922-00-OEM) appear to be one piece but with 2 different diameters.

I have tried pulling out with right angle pick, and separately, using a coarse 3/8" lag screw with a lever tool and wood block. I have stopped short of cutting with razor blade for fear of dropping a cut piece into intake valve

Any tricks or advice would be appreciated!
