Why are BAT prices higher than ads for sale pinned on the corkboard the corner grocery store?
Auction effect is real. BAT is nothing new, the concept was common in the 1700s. If you're willing to pay $x, you're also willing to pay $x+1. Basic. Anyone expecting to find a bargain at an auction doesn't know what the word means.
Also, there are many many many people gladly willing to pay a 20% premium for delivery. Amazon knows this and has taken over the planet. Not complicated. Add in a quarantine, and expect BAT prices to spike 50%.
Also, wealthy people value time over money. Contrast this to deal seekers who take 2 years to find a car, and those who search for a decade. The wealthy click a button and get things rolling fast.
BAT is for the wealthy. Guys who want a bargain do not shop online, and only buy cars on CL.
