Works great for small jobs in the home as well, such as cleaning a couch, etc. If you use the proper cleaning solution, (it is sold under their brand as well as others), it removes a lot of ground in dirt. Just make sure that the soap is for small extractors...read the label.

I have the same machine and I have a McClough steam cleaner.



In hind sight I should have spent a few extra dollars and got something a little better than the Bissell. It's a PITA to fill and empty those little tanks.
