I did it. The glue gave me a headache. It was very “boozey “ smelling.
My biggest mistake was NOT test fitting my clamps and straps first.
I test fit the part over and over. Even outlined the spot with a silver sharpie so I knew the landing spot. Lovingly sanded and cleaned the area and part.
I was shocked, no horrified (!) to discover my clamp would squirt the part forward slowly. I had to scramble and get a strap (which I hope isn’t now glued to my kayak. )
Here it is. Low hanging fruit for you more talented and less anxious people. It’s a plastic nose shield so I don’t erode a hole thru my kayak.
